1. The documents required should be submitted to the school directly from 2nd January 2025 to 16th January 2025 during office hours.
(Office Hours: Mondays to Fridays: 9am – 12noon, 1:30pm to 4:30pm, Saturdays: 9:15am - 12noon)
For parents registered as SSPA e-Platform users and bound their account to “iAM Smart+”, apart from the paper Application Form, they may submit DP applications via the SSPA e-Platform.
2. Late submissions and applications sent by post will not be considered.
3. The applicants may apply not more than two participating secondary schools, otherwise, the chance of acquiring a Discretionary Place will be forfeited.
4. Please submit the following documents with this application form:

 EDB Application Form for S1 Discretionary Place
 HK ID Card / Birth Certificate (including photocopy)
 TWO stamped and Self-addressed envelopes (Please state the name of the student)
 Yearly School Reports of P5 and The First Term School Report of P6 (including photocopy)
5. Parents are welcome to submit photocopies of any documents that can help the school understand the student's performance in various aspects.
6. Applicants need not to submit recommendation letters from the present primary school. All documents submitted will not be returned.
7. Applicants should note that once submitted, disregard in paper form or via the SSPA e-Platform*, the application could not be cancelled or retrieved, and no change can be made to the order of school preference.
8. The interview will be held on 22nd February, 2025. A confirmation letter will be sent to applicants by post by 17th February, 2025.
9. At most two parents or guardians MUST be present on the day of the interview.
10. Applicants selected for the Successful List for S1 Discretionary Places will be notified on 31st March, 2025 by letter and phone.
11. All Successful applicants will only be notified through the present primary schools by the School Places Allocation Section (SPA) of the Education Bureau on 8th July, 2025.
12. There will be 40 places for 2025–2026 Secondary One Discretionary Place Application.

*Reminder about the Submission of the Discretionary Place (DP)Application via the SSPA e-Platform
Please submit the duly completed Application Form together with other information required to our school direct or submit application via the SSPA e-Platform. Please be reminded that the child could not apply more than two participating secondary schools, regardless of the applications are submitted in paper form or via the SSPA e-Platform. Otherwise, the chance of the child acquired a DP will be forfeited. If you have submitted paper Application Form to secondary school, you should not submit duplicate applications via SSPA e-Platform, and vice versa. If you have submitted duplicate applications (i.e. submitted applications bearing the same application number to the same secondary school via both paper form and SSPA e-Platform), these applications will be regarded as one application only. Hence, duplicate applications will not increase the chance of being allocated to the school. Besides, please be reminded that you should not submit applications bearing the same application number to different secondary school respectively via paper form and SSPA e-Platform. Otherwise the chance of the child acquiring a DP will be forfeited. Applicants should note that once submitted, disregard in paper form or via the SSPA e-Platform, the application could not be cancelled or retrieved, and no change can be made to the order to school preference.
